【簡介】本劇是根據著名的民間傳說改編。
阿娘(申敏兒 飾)出生在朝鮮時代在密陽市，是純潔，美麗，心地善良的使道女兒。她從小就沒有母親，由奶娘扶養長大。但通引(地方小官)朱奇收買了阿娘的奶媽準備占有阿娘。他攻擊卻被她極力反抗，所以他刺傷並且殺害了她，還任由她的身體在樹林中腐爛。
做為使道的父親以為她和男人私奔了，感到恥辱並因此辭去了官位。因此傳說每次一個新的使道來到密陽，來填補該職位，阿娘就會現身讓新的使道嚇跑。

Synopsis

Set in the Joseon Dynasty period, the female ghost Ah-Rang, who was murdered, appears in front of the government official Eun-Oh and pleads for the man to punish her murderer. The government official then decides to help her.
